1) Visited a church in Breda town, quite close to Tilburg, about 20mins train ride - a return trip costs E$7
Tracy found it in the web pages. It is called Word Power Evangelical Church. Pastor is Ps Roger Kaiser. Dutch people, pastor said, have become less and less concerned with Christianity. Wealth and social welfare have made people less dependant on Him. I think it is true. In Australia, relatively more people can be found in churches on Sundays. Student ministries in universities are also very robust. Besides Tracy, Mesfin and I - and Pastor, his wife Elena, church elder John, there were only two other elderly ladies. Hence there were only 5 of us in the pews. If we hadn't attended, there'd only be 2.
Basically, Pastor Roger spoke on a) Praising our ABBA at all times b) We are unique and beautiful in His sight c) He'll never forsake us in the most trying of situations d) Avoid being like Job (Job 3:25) who had a heart of fear, dread, unrest, and disquietness. e) Seek first GOD and He'll provide what we need (Mt 6:33).
