29Apr09
- Lovely lilac flowers are blooming along the archway passage leading to the library.
- Abba's flora is truly captivating.
- His beautiful flora reminds me not to worry about what to put on.
Mt 6:28 - 34
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble"

28Apr09
Ruth and Sonja left for Germany at about 10am after breakfast and packing up.
It was wonderful to be able to meet Ruth and Sonja, visit SingaporeDay'09 in London, catch up on life with Ruth, and play with Sonja.
Thank Abba for the past 4days.

27Apr09
- 1st pix shows how plane tracks converge, diverge or cross.
- 2nd pix shows how seasons come and go, and daily dynamic changes.
- Today Ruth brought Sonja to experience London Eye.
- I have classes today so I stayed on campus.
- Just heard from a Singaporean friend in Netherlands - who hosted a visiting ex-colleague also from Singapore.
- My friend confided that she felt hurt when this ex-colleague remarked: Then you shouldn't have invited me to come to stay with you if you do not have these things ...
- 'these things' referred to certain sleeping linen that my friend was unable to provide because of certain practical and financial reasons.
- She also didn't have the heart to reply that it was her ex-colleague who first asked if she could stay with my friend to save costs. It was only after the request, that my friend said, yes, come.
- Anyway, being a Christian, she said she forgave what her ex-colleague uttered - and committed that conversation to God.
- Reminded me of how plane tracks of relationships converge, diverge and cross.
- And how seasons of friendship come and go, and the daily dynamic changes that can occur every moment.
- Yet, on top and above of everything, Father Abba is absolutely sovereign, amen.

26Apr09
- Sunday - This is the day that The Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
- Celebrated church with Ruth and Sonja at Hillsong, London.
- They hold their celebrations using Dominion Theatre.
- Pastor Gary conveyed God's Word in Judges 6, about Gideon.
- Gideon asked God for a sign: To make the wool wet and the ground dry.
- To confirm, he asked God for a second sign: To make the wool dry and the ground wet.
- Unbeknownst to him, he was prophesying Jesus' Finished Work.
- Jesus came to an arid humankind, 'dripping' in all things divine.
- When He finished His work at the cross, He was drained of all these divine anointing, and brought the rich living water of life to all humankind.
- The ending lyric of the closing song says so much to me:
"Jesus is Everything i need!"
- Indeed, He is All, He is Answer, He is Grace, He is Love, He is Saviour.
- He is Righteousness, He is Resurrection Life, He is Blessings.
- Seek first His kingdom, and all the secular things that I once pursued will be added to me as well (Mt 6:33).
- What a wonderful service - hallelujah.
- Later, we went for Chinese lunch at Chinatown.

- Singapore organizes a SingaporeDay carnival every year for its overseas citizens. Last year it was held in Melbourne. The year before that, in 2007, it was held in New York.
- Praise The Lord that the venue in 2009, where I am stationed for my dissertation, is in London!
- In the afternoon, the London cohort celebrated Sarita's son's birthday. She brought tidbits and presents for us! I gave a Matchbox toy car to her son (for her to give him when she's back in India). We had a picnic in the field.
