- Frozen rain fell intermittently throughout the morning and early afternoon. The sun played hide and seek with the frozen rain. Interesting interludes of 'snow' and sun.

- A florist shop in Central also sells 4 gigantic pots of Italy-imported olive trees. According to sales lady, the trees are 200yrs old and each costs $2,000euros.

- Whilst buying groceries, I saw a commotion in a hair salon. A group of 'Black Petes' playing instruments in there. I don't know if they expect some kind of tip or what, you know, like, in Singapore where Lion Dance is performed in a shop and they receive an ang-pow. (Black Pete is the companion-aide of Sinta Klaas (Santa Claus), so the children's tale goes. )
