Friday, no class, went to Den Bosch to collect my Residence Permit ID - valid for one year till Sep 2009. Various photos:

- Lovely autumn yellow on a tree near our flats.

- At 10am, the digital display says it is 7 degrees

- Took train at 10:15am

- Saw cargo container of China Shipping

- Happy to collect my Residence Permit ID

- Went into Cafe Jan Groot - Big John - and had a cheese pastry. The counter staff said their specialty is their Bolshe Bosch - chocolate coated creme cake.

- Jan Groot is very very popular, with queues lining outside

- After having a potato seafood salad after my cheese pastry, couldn't resist trying an apple-lemon pie, yumm
- The ancient buildings at Den Bosch.

- Visited a shop that specializes in organic foodstuff.

- Santa Claus is known as Sintaklaas here. He's got a helper Black Pieter (Black Peter) Controversy surrounds the politically incorrect image of a black person being a servant. Others say, aiyah, it's only tradition. (aiyah is mine)

- An ornately decorated bicycle, by an obviously proud owner
