- Karnaval Season begins (Carnival)
- Tilburg is famed for its karnaval gaiety amongst all the other provinces.
- Lots of fancy costumes, dancing, music and beer.
- Young and old alike will come out to celebrate the fanfare.
- Good clean fun in the daytime, no one gets drunk and no fights.
- I kept checking my backpack - by ABBA's grace, there're no pickpockets!
- Had an extremely enjoyable afternoon.
- Don't you just love the 'Beatles', the Rooster, the Jailbirds, the Sumo-Wrestler ...!
