- The EMMASEN cohort presented me with a birthday card when they celebrated my birthday with me last November.

- The cover looks relatively plain ... but you really need to see the next page - woww, that's where all the wishes are.

- I see a similar analogy when I read Romans 3:23 - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD"

- When I was trained to use the evangelistic booklets 'The 4 Spiritual Laws' and 'The Wordless Book' - I had to use Rm 3:23 to depict that everyone has sin in them.

- I never bothered to look at 'the next page' of this Scripture verse.

- It doesn't end there.

- It continues ... (v.24) "and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by CHRIST JESUS. (v.25) GOD presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His Blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished - (v.26) He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and The One who justifies those who have faith in JESUS.

- So, although all have sinned, when a person puts his/ her faith in The Finished Work of CHRIST JESUS at the cross through the shedding of His Blood and His death - that person is freely justified by ABBA's awesome grace.

- ABBA demonstrated His justice! Some people say ABBA is laissez faire in His forgiveness of sins. But, no. It says He demonstrated His justice.

- If you stand before the High Court to face the justice of the Singapore's legal system - you'll be awed! Multiply that by zillions of zillions times - and that is the justice of ABBA!

- You see, ABBA let His Son die to pay a believer's redemption price in His court of justice. It didn't come cheap, and it is not laissez faire manner.

- Yet on our part we only need a mustard size faith to believe The Good News.

- When we read the papers and are told that the government will subsidize such and such a thing - we believe and are happy.

- Multiply that by zillions of zillions times - and that is the great joy of The Good News from ABBA to us: His Son forgave all our sins through His death at the cross!

- Praying that if you've not yet read 'the next page', The Holy Spirit will give you His light to believe the truth.

- I can vouch for it - that you'll never regret it, rather you'll be ever blessed.

- Grace and shalom-peace of ABBA to you!
