Dutch people like sports a lot, and many of them train at night, even during winter, in football, hockey etc. This field near my dorm is used for football every Thursday and Friday nights. Look at the grass - I asked a gentleman there tonight why is the field so well kept - and it's a large field. He couldn't speak English, not a word. But I understood two words that he was trying to offer in explanation - turf, and ... plastic. Hmmm - artificial turf - no wonder ...
