The food was only so-so. But the company was great. The get-together comprise Porlin, Kwok Tai, A-Tang, CheePheng and myself. I had known this group of friends since 1976 - a robust 32 years. We reminisced the past, the recent, the current and the tomorrow. We talked about money - $-kaching-$ - and we talked about God. We talked about friends and we ribbed each other. We even called up to surprise Jimmy on his phone. It's amazing how my friends look so age-defying after these years. We miss the others dearly - Maureen, Adeline, Sin Hwee, and WW-Sim Ai - who were unable to join us this time round. May God's special and rich blessings continue to shower on my 'since-1976' group of friends.
