Fed some bread to the ducks, ducklings, geese and goslings. Saw the goslings pecking an adult duck as they compete for the food! Definitely a learned behaviour from mommy and daddy. Also saw a goose peck a duckling, also because of food! Looks like the kings, queens, princes and princesses of Roehampton grounds are the geese and goslings. With no natural predator around, such as foxes or snakes, they reign high and mighty, yes, even the young ones. When it comes to food and survival, it is each for their own and the aggressor bullying the lesser. Just like human nature.
