- We'll be relocating to Prague on Thu, 27-Feb, for our next phase of studies.

- Time to say goodbye to Tilburg, Netherlands.

- Gave a scarf to thank Lizzy - the Admin Officer who is so helpful and often goes beyond her scope of duty.

- After 5 months here, I can say that I like Netherlands ...

- For its bicycle lanes!

- For its quality food produce - cheese, ham, sausages, fruit, vege, etc.

- For its quality products - bicycles built to last a lifetime, photocopiers designed not to emit toner fumes and built like a tank, etc.

- For its quality of life - shops are closed on Sundays in most towns for family time; employees especially ladies can work part-time to provide better care for their children, there is complimentary tea and coffee in government service offices and in supermarkets, etc.

- Law and order, safety and low-crime - haven't seen a window with grilles! - so unlike Singapore - windows and doors have grilles.

- Saw this sculpture near Prof Cobbenhagenlaan: Reminded me of the two cherubim (Paul calls them "the cherubim of The Glory" - Heb 9:5) with their wings overshadowing the atonement cover of the ark of the covenant.

- The heavenly atonement cover has aredi & alwis been sprinkled with The Blood of JESUS when He died more than 2,000 yrs ago for our everlasting redemption.

- The Blood of JESUS is so excellently described by Paul in Hebrew 9.

- I have heard that in a certain country, the government appoints state churches and state priests/pastors - and they are not to preach about The Blood of JESUS.

- Years ago, I thought why? Now I know it is because there is such an awesome supernatural power when The Blood of JESUS is preached that It will usher in the understanding of The Truth of ABBA.

- This brings me back to my Blog a few days ago about The Truth of ABBA Father.

- Amazingly, this morning during my Quiet Time, I read Hebrews 10 and you know something? - The Truth of ABBA declared by The Holy Spirit through Paul's writing in Heb 10:26-31 comprises The Holy Trinity and The Blood of JESUS.

- I'd share something about the mentioning of The Holy Trinity before I come back to Heb 10.

- Romans 8:11 is The only verse in The Word of ABBA that declares The Holy Trinity twice over in a single verse:

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."

- The first mention is highlighted in red, and the second in purple.

- Coming back to to Heb 10:26-31 - The Truth is all about The Son of GOD, The Blood of the covenant, The Spirit of grace, and The living GOD.

- It is not about trying to live right in order to please GOD.

- It is not about obeying laws to earn GOD's approval

- It is not about doing this and doing that.

- It is all about The grace of ABBA that can never be earned by self efforts.

- It is all about The Finished Work of CHRIST JESUS at the cross for you and me, aredi & alwis.

- When we offer our mustard-seed-sized faith to believe, oh - behold, ABBA unleashes the storehouse of His bounty to fill us with His blessings and His power to live right, even to reign in life.

- Will you offer your faith to believe The Truth of GOD?

- Thought I'd visit the laundry room before I leave the dormitory and Netherlands.

- I'm used to hand-washing my clothes, so with a pail, basin and strainer (vege colander) I've never used the laundromat before.

- Well, well, that's how it looks like.

- These Miele washers and dryers are built like tanks, and made to last.

- With permission from the dorm's House-master, residents can organize parties in this room.

- Look at the last expectation listed in the displayed Code of Conduct by WonenBreburg (our dorm owner): "... expects you to confront fellow tenants with any irresponsible behaviour or actions".

- Agree it is socially appropriate - but is a tall order to confront!

- Netherlands Carnival - called Nederland Carnaval in Dutch - will start in this weekend. Lots of merry making, music, dancing, street celebrations, colourful costumes, etc.

- Shops especially pubs are all geared up for the cash registers to ring.

- This evening, invited the Senco of the Buddy School that I visited for my project, and his wife for dinner at Tony's Wok. As I am familiar with Tony's boss and his wife, I asked for permission to bring my own proper plates and cutlery. The couple were so nice and he did big portions of stirfry for our plates.

- As usual, he offered fried siew-mai and loempias (Indonesian fried spring rolls) on the house.

- He stirfried something special for me - a Wenzhou (his hometown) specialty fried rice, with beef!

- Lovely dinner, thank you ABBA.

- Sad news: Sarita's father passed on in India last night. She is returning immediately. Her brother had also passed on about 3 months ago. She is devastated.

- In the Fontys Library, there is only one English Language newspaper: The Guardian. There are some six Dutch Language dailies. Occasionally I read Straits Times online.

- In today's Guardian, an article mentioned about Dubai's bubble bursting.
