This is so yesterday news ... but I thought I'd put it up anyway.

When Briton Jamie Neale was found after several days supposedly being lost in an Australian outback with betrayingly little injuries ... the paparazzi and public hounds sniffed something fishy, accusing him of a get-rich scam.

A few days later, indeed he is going to sell his story for a tidy sum.

But I thought I read somewhere that he's donating it to charity ...
