4Mar09
- After classes, walked through town to visit Klementinum, which is Karlova Univerzita's archive library, stocking more than 10,000 over books (Charles University has over 6 million books in its complete libraries).
- Climbed up to its tower to view the panoramic landscape!
- Enroute to the Klementinum, saw a man handcuffed by police and lying on the ground. Look at the lady being assisted by a man in red jacket - it looked like she had received a nasty blow.

2Mar09
- After classes, visited National Museum - free entry today!
- One level is about Czech Republic's development into a democratic republic nation.
- One level is my favourite: paleontology and animal exhibits! (have always loved this even as a kid)
- In front of the museum, there is a stone cross built into the stone floor - to remember Jan Palach who, as an activitist student against the communist regime, immolated himself at the exact spot in 1969.

1 pastry (open square) = 50kc = S$3.50
1 cup tea (cafe) = 90kc = S$6.30
1 grilled salmon (cafe) = 180kc = S$12.50
Trams and metro system quite easy to use.
Lots of tourists even in winter, and even more during summer
